Last week, I attended the event opened at a cafe in Umeda.
It's first time to join it for me through "meet up" app.
Do you know about it?
I've never heard such an app.
Howver one of my English teacher told me about it.
After her lesson, I serched it and installed.
I want to praise myself for proactive attitude towards English learning.
At that time, I should have efforted more...
Anyway that's wonderful experience for me.
When I entered the cafe and told the orner about joining an envent, I met a man who wanted to join same one.
He came to Japan from Hong Kong.
I've never met someone from there so it's new to me.
His English is too fast to lesson with my current skills.
So I had to ask him to 'could you say that again?' quite often.
Unlike me, everyone else could speak English.
I hesitate ask them to speak more slowly.
Because it's a real conversation not a lesson.
Under the inclusive space, if I had asked, this request have would been received well.
However it's diffucult to put my suggestion into action in terms of real conversation.
After talking with him, we talked about a various of areas.
Especially they discussed about gamble and alcohol.
I can't talk about it even Japanese so I couldn't provide any comments on that.
I'm not satisfied the result of this experience.
I want to improve my English skills and try it again.
Fortunately this event is opened every week.
I can try it anytime.
